This programme, already delivered to over 400 learners through-out the north east, is aimed at employers and employees across all departments from all levels of the organisation. It is the ideal introduction to equality and diversity for organisations from within the Public, Private and Voluntary and Community Sectors.

The objectives of this one day programme are to help learners develop an understanding of:

  • The difference between equality and diversity
  • Current legislation supporting equality in the workplace
  • The impact of negative stereotyping, and how this can lead to prejudice and discrimination
  • The concepts of bullying and harassment as forms of discrimination
  • The impact of discrimination on an individual and an organisation
  • How working practices support or cause barriers to equality and diversity
Cost

£850 plus VAT for up to 15 learners, plus £9.50 registration fee per learner.
