Equality and Diversity in the Workplace

Accredited by OCNNER and delivered by Equality North East’s Training and Consultancy division, the region’s leading provider of equality and diversity training.

The objectives of this one day programme are to help learners develop an understanding of:

• the difference between equality and diversity
• current legislation supporting equality in the workplace
• the concepts of bullying and harassment as forms of discrimination
• the impact of discrimination on an individual and an organisation
• how working practices support or cause barriers to equality and diversity

The programme is relevant to everybody within an organisation. It also offers a sound overview for those considering a more in depth study of the subject, including progression onto the Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity and the Level 3 Certificate in Managing Diversity, both available from Equality North East.

£75 + VAT - Charities, Voluntary and Community Organisations and Private Sector organisations with less than 250 employees

£125 + VAT - Public Sector and Private Sector organisations with more than 250 employees
