Funded NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Equality and Diversity

Delivered by Equality North East’s Training and Consultancy division, the region’s leading provider of equality and diversity training.

The objectives of the certificate are to help learners develop an understanding of:

• the meaning and importance of equality and diversity
• the promotion of equality and diversity
• social and individual prejudice and discrimination
• individual and organisational rights and responsibilities

The course combines tutor lead group training days with self study distance learning materials in order to meet learners’ individual needs.
The programme is particularly suited to those who have a responsibility for the promotion of equality and diversity and provides a sound preparation for access onto a range of vocational programmes including the ‘Level 3 Certificate in Managing Diversity’ available from Equality North East.

This is a fully funded 12 week programme with assistance from the Equality & Human Rights Commission.
