NEtWorking for Change are hosting a series of workshops, Removing barriers, challenging perceptions. The EHRC came into operation in October 2007 and Equality legislation is undergoing its biggest shake up for 30 years. This series of workshops are aimed at tackling stereotypes, busting myths and challenging participants' perceptions.

Included in the workshops will be examples of good (and possibly bad) practice and an opportunity to ask facilitators and other members questions.

This workshop takes a challenging look at disability in the workplace. We look at the most commonly held perceptions and attempt to bust myths. The workshop includes practical advice from Job Centre Plus in relation to the support available for employers and employees (including Access to Work). An interesting and challenging workshop with the opportunity to ask questions in an open forum.

Places are free to NEtWork members (individuals and organisations).
