Women are 'own worst enemy' in career progression
Women are their own worst enemy when it comes to successfully progressing in their career to the top, one expert has said.
Speaking to BBC Woman's Hour about the importance of women to business, Heather Jackson of The Women's Business Forum, a network of 4,000 women that helps to provide a steady pipeline of female talent in business, said that it is not just organisations that are holding women back from senior roles.
She stressed that women need to have the confidence and the knowledge that they have choice and control in where they are going in their industry.
